Mission Statement Health-Pro Physical Therapy, Inc. is a consumer service organization, with a philosophy of always striving to provide the best expertise that physical therapy has to offer. Our therapists are trained well beyond entry level in the profession and they continue to remain on the cutting edge by attending continuing education courses, reading current literature in the field, and staying involved in professional associations. Owner and President I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Sandra Schall, PT. I am the owner and President of Health-Pro Physical Therapy, Inc. I sincerely hope you will find it beneficial to utilize the services of this clinic. I earned my PT degree from the University of Vermont in Burlington in 1988. I moved to Livermore after I graduated from college. For over 20 years, I have been a practicing therapist in various settings throughout the Tri-Valley area and the Bay Area. My areas of expertise include orthopedic and post-surgical rehab, sports rehab, ergonomics, repetitive injuries, chronic pain, and hand therapy. I also have a strong background in neurological rehab, wound care and pediatrics. I acquired this clinic in July of 2004 from a therapist who was retiring. We are currently developing new programs and protocols to allow this clinic to continue to be a major factor in the rehab community. Our staff employs a strong emphasis on various manual therapies such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, joint/spine mobilization and soft tissue mobilization, included with a combination of treatment modalities, education, body mechanics training, postural re-education and exercise. This approach has been very effective to assist our patients to progress with treatment. We evaluate each patient as a whole, treating the source of the problem and not just the symptoms.
Clinical Staff Sandy Schall, PT, President, Director currently sees patients Monday through Friday, with varying start and end times. Megan (Goforth) Thomas, PTA has returned to us after being absent for almost 3 years. She has since gotten married and is expecting a baby in early 2009. She will be working Monday and Tuesday evenings, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday mornings, and 2-3 Saturday mornings a month. She has strong manual skills and an exercise background. Wanda Waltman, PT has over 25 years experience as a Physical Therapist. Currently Wanda is on medical leave for an injury. We expect her to return as soon as she is able. PT Aide: Shirin Etemad
Clerical Staff Randi, Clinical Coordinator, managing the front office duties and patient scheduling. Stephanie, Billing and Collections Coordinator, managing the insurance and patient billing and collections. Fiona, Patient Care Coordinator, is the liaison between our office and the physician offices and other referral sources. |
